How it works
This label remover uses the power of water to get rid of labels on plastic bottles and PET with efficiency rate of more than 95%. It does so by using mechanical force (medium-speed rotation and peeling) and high pressure water flushing. The wet label remover removes bottle labels, parts of the caps, as well as cleaning the bottle washing away sand and any other small particles.
Features
1. Adopt imported sharp, hard, alloy knife teeth to ensure durability. The claw-shaped knives are welded by copper, while large welding area guarantees firmness and stability.
2. Friction teeth plate and screw is wear-resistance and replaceable.
3. Knife and friction gap can automatically adjust according to bottle sizes, thus achieving best label-stripping effect.
4. Machine focuses on separate various labels from PET plastic bottles making it an indispensable and perfect device before plastic bottles crushing and further cleaning.

Place an Order
The general lead time for all single-piece, standard equipment orders is 30 days. For custom orders or complete washing lines, the lead time is between 60 – 90 days. The actual lead time will depend heavily on the complexity of the project as well as the amount of machinery we have in queue at the time of your order.

Frequently Asked Questions
What labels can the wet label remover handle?
The machine removes paper labels, PP/PE plastic labels, and shrink-sleeve labels from PET bottles with an efficiency rate above 95%, along with parts of caps. Medium-speed rotation with claw-shaped alloy knives peels labels off while high-pressure water flushes them away. The knife-to-friction gap auto-adjusts to bottle size, so mixed bottle streams can be processed without manual changeover.
Where does the label remover fit in a PET washing line?
It sits at the front of the line, before crushing: whole bottles enter the label remover first, then the de-labeled bottles go to the granulator for size reduction and onward to sink-float separation and washing. Removing labels early prevents label fragments from contaminating PET flakes downstream and reduces the load on later separation stages.
What capacity and power does the machine require?
Throughput depends on bottle size and label type; the machine is typically sized to match washing lines from a few hundred kg/h up to several tons per hour. It runs on standard three-phase industrial power driving the main rotor and water pump. Share your line capacity with ASG so the label remover can be matched to your granulator output.
How much water does the wet label remover use?
Water consumption depends on throughput and how dirty the incoming bottles are. The machine is normally tied into the line’s water recirculation system, so most process water is filtered and reused rather than discharged. A water treatment or filtration unit keeps recirculated water clean enough to maintain the 95%+ label removal rate.
What maintenance does the label remover need?
The alloy knife teeth and friction teeth plates are wear items: inspect them regularly and replace them when stripping efficiency drops. Check the copper-welded claw knives for firmness, verify the automatic gap adjustment moves freely, and clean the water nozzles to keep flushing pressure consistent. Spare knives and wear plates are available from ASG.
What is the lead time and ordering process?
Standard single machines ship in about 30 days; custom configurations or complete washing lines take 60-90 days depending on complexity and the current order queue. Contact ASG to discuss pricing and ordering details, and mention your bottle types and target capacity so the machine can be sized correctly.
