This video shows our final testing for a 500 kg/hr PP PE densified material pelletizing line for our customer in Canada. The pelletizer is designed to receive densified material from the water squeezer system.
Feeding pre-densified material instead of loose film lets the extruder run at higher throughput with steadier output — making this configuration ideal for film recyclers who already wash and densify upstream. See our pelletizing line guide for how different line configurations match different materials.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a densified pelletizer line?
A densified pelletizer line extrudes and pelletizes pre-compacted plastic material into uniform pellets. This 500 kg/hr line is configured for PP/PE densified material: the pelletizer receives dense flakes directly from the water squeezer system, melts and filters them, and cuts them into consistent pellets ready for reuse in manufacturing.
Why feed densified material instead of loose film?
Densified material has much higher bulk density than loose film, so it feeds into the extruder continuously and evenly. That means higher throughput, steadier melt flow, fewer surges, and more consistent pellet quality — a major advantage over forcing bulky, lightweight film straight into the hopper.
What does the water squeezer system do?
The water squeezer system (also called a densifier) compresses washed, shredded film into dense, compacted material. By squeezing out residual water and compacting the flakes, it produces a uniform, high-density feedstock that the pelletizer can process at full rated capacity without feeding interruptions.
What materials can this pelletizing line process?
This line is designed for PP/PE densified material — the typical output of film washing and densifying lines. If your upstream process already produces washed, densified flakes, this configuration slots in directly as the final pelletizing stage of the recycling line.
Does the line get tested before delivery?
Yes. The video shows the final factory testing of this 500 kg/hr line built for a customer in Canada. Each pelletizing line is run and verified at the factory before shipment, so performance is confirmed and commissioning on site proceeds smoothly.
What pellet quality can I expect from the line?
The line produces uniform PP/PE pellets suitable for reuse in new plastic products. Final pellet quality depends largely on feedstock cleanliness and consistency — densified, well-washed input and a properly filtered melt path are what deliver premium-grade output.
