This is a trial run of our 1000 kg/hr plastic regrind washing line for one of our customers in Perth, Australia. This complete solution for plastic recycling plant can process, wash and dry all sorts of plastic regrinds including HDPE, PP, PE, ABS, PC and other rigid plastics. All parts coming in contact with water are made of 304 stainless steel for increased durability and protection again corrosion and rust.
Once the washing and drying processes are complete, the rigid plastic regrinds can be sent directly to a plastic extrusion system. This is the second time this customer has bought this system from us.
Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in this system so we can make a proposal for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
What materials can this washing line process?
The line processes rigid plastic regrinds including HDPE, PP, PE, ABS, PC, and other rigid plastics. It washes and dries regrinds rather than whole bottles, so it is ideal for operations receiving pre-ground material from collection streams or in-house scrap, where granulation has already been done upstream.
What capacity does the line handle?
This configuration is rated at 1,000 kg/h of plastic regrinds. Actual throughput depends on contamination level and regrind particle size. Higher capacities can be configured by scaling the washers, dryers, and conveying equipment, so discuss your target output when requesting a proposal.
What are the construction and durability features?
All parts coming into contact with water are made of 304 stainless steel for increased durability and protection against corrosion and rust. This matters because wash water mixed with detergent is corrosive, and stainless contact parts keep the line running reliably for years with minimal degradation.
How does the line integrate with downstream processing?
Once washing and drying are complete, the rigid plastic regrinds can be sent directly to a plastic extrusion system for pelletizing. The dried regrind is a clean feedstock ready for extrusion, so plan your pelletizing capacity to match the 1,000 kg/h washing output for balanced operation.
What power and installation requirements apply?
Exact installed power depends on the final configuration of washers, dryers, and conveyors, so plan for three-phase industrial power. Installation needs a level industrial floor, a water supply with recirculation, and drainage. Allow space for regrind infeed storage and dried-material discharge.
What maintenance does the washing line require?
Regularly inspect washer screens, dryer components, and conveyor drives, and keep the water filtration system clean to protect regrind quality. Check stainless contact parts for scale buildup from hard water. ASG provides proposals, spare parts, and support; contact us with your material details for a tailored system.
